EcoWater Systems, worldwide market leader in the sector, is targeting even higher growth aspirations in Europe, especially for water treatment in the Food Service, Beverage and Hotel sector.  To expand this segment, we are looking for a (M/F)


Business Development Manager EMEA


The Business Development Manager EMEA is responsible for expanding our international end customer- and distributor-network throughout the entire EMEA region, supported by an already existing customer base of our other Marmon Inc. companies in the Food Service, Beverage and Water sector. You will prospect international key accounts in the sector and develop the business with them in coordination with the current and further expandable network of European dealers (specialized distributors who act as indirect sales-channel and/or service partners) for our water treatment products in that market segment.


Your responsibilities:

      You are the account manager of international Food Service and Hotel end customers and will prospect plus win over the right regional decision makers in EMEA (except for the Benelux) for our water treatment products;

      You work together with our own regional EcoWater and/or Marmon sites but also with the network of Commercial Dealers,

      As such you are responsible for the commercial management and A to Z monitoring of this customer portfolio (of appointments made internally and externally including negotiations and the conclusion of new agreements);

      In your position you defend both the interests of EcoWater in the Food, Beverage and Hotel Sector, as well as those of the customers and dealers towards EcoWater, and also establish and cultivate a strong professional relationship with them;

      You are responsible for achieving the agreed targets (sales and margin budget and KPIs), drawing up account-plans, forecasts, etc.;

      Monthly reporting on the targets and progress of your actions;

      You function as the first contact point for all technical and application questions with respect to your partner network, and solve them proactively or through colleagues in order to provide a fast but also sound solution;

      You are also responsible for the practical trainingin our products among the different end customers and dealers, as regards to applications, dimensioning, installation and maintenance;

      Within the EMEA water treatment market, you build a network of contacts and stay abreast of market developments and movements in the sector;

      You also strive continuously to spot new opportunities in the Food Service and Hotel market for water applications and for their conversion.


Your profile:

      You have had the benefit of higher economic or technical education or equivalent through experience;

      Proven experience in the water treatment sector, preferably in “Food Service and Hotel applications” is a great plus, but experience with apartment building applications, hospitals, the food industry in general, institutions, carwashes, etc. are also of value;

      You have some years of field Business Development experience in B2B Sales;

      You have already worked in a multicultural and international environment;

      You have a thorough knowledge of languages: DutchFrenchEnglishGermanSpanish is a plus;

      Regular travel in Europe (+/- 65%) does not bother you;

      You are a strong and independent business developer focusing on actions and results.

      You have excellent communication skills;

      You have a keen sense of integrity, responsibility, quality and initiative.
