**Position Overview**

The HR Director will provide leadership to global HR generalist team (EMEA, Americas, APAC and India), in the execution of business vertical people agendas, global HR programs and initiatives. Drive regional, country and site specific employee engagement and employee relations activities. Provide day to day HR support to line managers and employees (e.g., L4 and below)

**Primary Responsibilities**

* Support the development and execution of the HR strategies, initiatives & services to support the business strategic goal deployment and annual operations plan objectives in the various areas of talent acquisition, performance management, learning and skills development, compensation and organizational development.

* Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to leaders and employees within a matrixed business environment and global footprint.

* Provide dedicated guidance and coaching with specific focus on: employee advocacy/engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention and workplace investigations as appropriate.

* Drive the implementation and deployment of effective HR procedures, policies, systems, standards and infrastructures, in order to ensure a systematic and integrated approach to HR solutions across the regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC, and India).

* Counsels leaders on optics of decision making regarding impact on employees. Supports diversity initiatives and coaches leadership on how to leverage talent and teams across the organization.

* Understands and articulates key labor issues and employment law within and across countries. Recommends actions/changes required to meet business results/strategies.

* Ensures compliance with all legal requirements.

## Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in business, labor relations, organizational development or other similar discipline

* 10+ years of experience in Human Resources

* 3+ years in multi-region leadership position

* Demonstrated ability to operate across different countries and build relationship with internal and external customers from different cultural backgrounds

* A strong bias for action, a keen sense of urgency and the ability to drive results in a matrixed organizational environment

* Demonstrated experience in making strategic HR decisions, assessing leadership talent and effectively interfacing with high-level business and operations leaders

* Deep Pan-European HR and labor compliance experience (preferably in big 5 WEU countries)

* Self-motivation and strong interpersonal/communication/influential skills with an emphasis on relationship / team / partnership building complete the profile

* Decisive and assertive with the ability to be provide flexible, creative solutions in a complex environment

* English fluency and minimum one additional regional language.

* Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs.

* Outstanding communication, coaching, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization

* Ability to work in a collaborative manner

* Able to energize and inspire others to commit to and take action on business priorities, especially when driving change

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to assess situations make judgments based on practice or previous experience

* Ability to work in changing environments, see through complexity and strategically promote an inclusive / diverse workforce

* Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement

* Strong understanding of the application of local labor laws and government requirements
