My client is the worlds largest provider of switching power supplies and offer a range of power management solutions, components, visual displays, industrial automation, networking products and renewable energy solutions.

For their Components BU they are looking for an experienced Sales Manager of Electronic Components for the Automotive and/or Industrial market segments in the EMEA region to help the growth of components sales revenue, manage the existing accounts and develop new accounts with a focus on the Central Europe automotive and industrial market.

This is an all:round sales position which requires know:how of electronic engineering.

You would be based from a home office in Germany Your challenge: * New business development and key account management in the automotive and/or industrial market segment in the EMEA region (including follow:up, active project management, and contract negotiations) * Plan and execute the industrial market strategies and create EMEA market overviews (including competitor analysis) * Provide data and sales reports for monthly reviews * Present technical presentations * Develop and encourage a clear and open style of communication and be the link between the customers, the Business Units (BU) and factories in Asia.

* Support cross business group / business unit accounts and enforce cross selling activities Your profile: * Minimum 3 years of sales and business development experience in automotive and/or industrial markets * Minimum 3 years of work experience in an international company * Professional technical electronics education * Technical background in electronic components (preferable experience in Inductive Components) * Experience in selling electronic components to the automotive and/or industrial market segments * Able to discuss and communicate technical and commercial details both with the customer and the business group in Asia * Good technical knowledge of components and a sound understand of commercial activities * Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills * Excellent organizing and prioritizing skills * Fluent in spoken and written English and German * Team player, open minded, flexible and extrovert * Willing to travel within the EMEA region * Candidates with strong and wide existing network focused on the automotive market and/or industrial market would be considered as a plus
